Richard is one of Australia’s leading financial transaction, international investment and corporate communications specialists. He has advised state, federal and international governments, and multi-national corporates on projects worth in excess of AUD$30 billion.

Richard recently advised the Australian Government’s Department of Finance on the national and international marketing and communications program for the AUD$5.7 billion Medibank Private IPO.

Prior to this, Richard advised the New Zealand Government on its NZ$4.7B asset divestment and infrastructure investment program.  He was also a member of the team that advised the New South Wales Government on the AUD$5billion sale of Port Botany and Port Kembla and the AUD$1.75 billion sale of Port of Newcastle.

Through 2011-12, Richard led the state-wide communications and community engagement program for the Queensland Government’s Flood and Cyclone Reconstruction Authority, Australia’s largest ever natural disaster recovery and reconstruction program.

Richard has previously held executive level media and communications roles in the Queensland Government portfolios of Treasury, Planning, Local Government, Sport and Communities.
