Claire has extensive experience as a communications and public affairs specialist, having worked for domestic and international interests over the past 15 years in roles for government and the private sector.

Beginning her career in federal politics, Claire has worked as a ministerial adviser in the Treasury and Veterans’ Affairs portfolios. She has also worked in the United Kingdom and Australia undertaking strategic communications for government agencies in health and agriculture.

Before joining Newgate Claire worked in the corporate sector on a range of significant government and corporate communication briefs, including the Telstra 3 Share Offer, Moorebank Intermodal Terminal project, NRMA stakeholder and community engagement projects, and a number of high profile agriculture and health focused communication campaigns.

Claire specialises in strategic communications, government relations, media and crisis management and complex stakeholder and community engagement.
